Long Beach spinal ward Veteran outreach

Devoted volunteers with a heart to serve heroes (veterans).

Several of the volunteers came by way of the Men's HERD on Saturday's. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with the care packages, visited the hospital and for our friends at the VFW in Mission Viejo. 

The following week at the HERD some of the volunteers shared the remarkable encounters they had visiting veterans in the hospital. It was an honor serving the veterans at the VA Long Beach hospital.

Veterans Appreciation Game

This year Mission Viejo High School started a new annual tradition. MV hosted a fantastic Veterans Appreciation Football Game. Veterans are invited to night of football, food and are a given lots of appreciation. The players wear the names of the honored veterans. 

MV Football treats their honored guests like heroes should be and MV won with a high score over Tustin.
